2017 Year End Rankings

2017 saw a fair bit of fluidity in the top ten, and the season ended with Canadian and International Lionel Sanders at World No 1, with fellow Internationals James Cunnama from South Africa, and Terenzo Bozzone from New Zealand all in the Top 5. Europe continued to show its strength. Even with Jan Frodeno dropping out of the Top Ten as a result of some injuries, Europe captures 5 of the Top Ten spots, as both Bart Aernouts, of Belgium and David McNamee, of Scotland broke into the Top Ten by year’s end. It was not such a good year for USA, as Ben Hoffman was the only American to line up in the Top Ten, at World No. 7.
